Event Log
Log every upload event to a panel for debugging. See the complete event lifecycle in real time.
What you should see: every event printed with its payload as it happens — the quickest way to see the real lifecycle order before wiring your own handlers.
Event Log
var uploader = CoreUpload.create('#eventlog-uploader', {
uploadUrl: '/api/upload/upload',
multiple: true,
autoUpload: true,
onFileAdded: function(file) {
log('SELECT', file.name + ' (' + file.size + ' bytes)');
},
onTaskProgress: function(file, percent) {
log('PROGRESS', file.name + ' ' + Math.round(percent) + '%');
},
onTaskComplete: function(file, response) {
log('COMPLETE', file.name);
},
onTaskError: function(file, error) {
log('ERROR', file.name + ': ' + error);
},
onTaskComplete: function(task, result) {
log('TASK_COMPLETE', task.name + ' finished');
},
onQueueComplete: function() {
log('QUEUE_COMPLETE', 'All uploads finished');
}
}); Watching the sequence
A running log of the client callbacks in the order they fire. It is the quickest way to see which hook corresponds to which moment, without reading the reference first.
Worth keeping in your own application
A debug log of upload events, switchable on, pays for itself the first time someone reports that uploads “sometimes fail”. The events carry the file, the sizes and the failure reason — most of what a support conversation otherwise has to guess.
