Multiple File Upload

Enable multiple file selection with asp-multiple="true". Users can select several files at once or add them in batches. Each file uploads individually with its own progress indicator.

What you should see: several files selected at once, each queued with its own row and status. Accepts documents and archives up to 10 MB.

Asking for more than one

asp-multiple is false by default, so a multi-file uploader is a deliberate setting. With it on, the picker allows a multi-selection and the queue accumulates rather than replacing.

What changes once there are several

Everything obvious with one file needs thought: how many transfer at once, whether a count cap is needed, and what the user sees when one of ten fails. The last is the one most often skipped, and it is what turns a recoverable problem into a silent loss.
